Our Pricing Structure

At TLC Dog Walking, we believe every dog deserves the chance to get out and enjoy their day, including those that other dog walkers may struggle to manage. Whether your dog is strong, excitable, or needs extra handling, we have the skills and experience to provide safe, structured walks tailored to their needs.

Our pricing reflects the level of care and expertise required for each dog. For example, a standard single-dog group walk costs £15.50, but if you’re a TLC Family Club Member, you’ll only pay £11.5o. And it is only £7.50 for each additional dog you have in your household that needs a walk.

For dogs that need specialist handling, prices go up to £31 for a full hour walk (FCD is available) or £27 for a 30 minute walk, ensuring they receive the attention and control they need while still enjoying a fun and fulfilling outing.

Anytime Walks – A Flexible, Cost-Effective Option

We also offer an Anytime Walk at £14 per full-hour walk. Many new dog walkers start with a set lunchtime slot, but as they get busier, this slot shifts to whatever time they can fit your dog in—often without telling you. We believe in honesty and transparency, so we offer this option upfront at a lower price.

If you choose an Anytime Walk, your dog will be walked at any time between 9 AM and 4PM, depending on our schedule for the day. This is perfect for owners who want a more affordable option and don’t mind a flexible time slot.

Dog Training & Dog School on the Go

At TLC Dog Walking, we offer expert dog training using positive reinforcement methods, tailored to help dogs of all breeds and temperaments. Whether you need help with basic obedience, reactivity, or specific behavioural challenges, we provide one-to-one training sessions designed to set you and your dog up for success.

Our Dog School on the Go is a unique, hands-on training experience where we work with your dog during their regular walks. This real-world approach helps reinforce good behaviour in everyday situations, making training practical, effective, and stress-free for both you and your dog.

Understanding Our Price Table

Our pricing table is designed to make it easy for you to find the right option for your dog. Here's how to read it:

First Column – TLC Family Members Club: If you are a TLC Family Member, these are the discounted prices available exclusively to you. Membership gives you £4 off every walk and £2 off per day on boarding bookings.
Second Column – Difficult Dogs: If your dog requires extra handling due to pulling, unreliable recall, or size, these prices apply. These are for dogs that need an experienced handler but are not aggressive or dangerous.

Walk Time Slots

Our walks are scheduled within three time slots:

Morning: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Midday: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Your dog’s walk will take place within the chosen time slot.

If you prefer a more specific two-hour window for an additional fee, select from:

10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM

These options allow for a more precise pick-up and drop-off time. This is an additional £2.50 per walk.

What is a "Difficult Dog"?

At TLC Dog Walking, we specialise in walking dogs that many other walkers may turn away. But what exactly is a "difficult dog"?

A difficult dog isn't aggressive but may have behaviours that require extra experience, patience, and skill. These dogs might:

Be strong pullers on the lead, making walks challenging for inexperienced handlers.
Have unreliable recall, meaning they can't be trusted off-lead in open spaces.
Be larger breeds that require confident handling and control.
Be excitable or highly energetic, needing structured exercise to keep them engaged.
Struggle with focus or basic obedience, making group walks seem daunting.

We understand that these dogs still deserve fun, structured walks that suit their needs. With over 30 years of experience in dog training and behaviour, we ensure they get the best possible care in a safe and controlled environment.

TLC Family Members Club

Our TLC Family Members Club is designed for dog owners who use our services regularly and want to save money throughout the year. By paying an upfront membership fee, you’ll receive exclusive discounts on dog walking and boarding.

How It Works

£500 for 12 months or £300 for 6 months
£4 off every dog walk
