Behavioural modification is a valuable approach for addressing a wide range of problematic behaviors in dogs. Here are some common issues that can be effectively addressed through behavioural modification techniques:

1. Aggression
Types: Aggression towards people, other dogs, or animals.

2. Separation Anxiety
Symptoms: Excessive barking, destructive behaviour, and distress when left alone.

3. Fear and Phobias
Types: Fear of loud noises (thunder, fireworks), unfamiliar people, or objects.

4. Excessive Barking
Types: Barking at people, other animals, or noises.

5. Destructive Chewing
Types: Chewing furniture, shoes, or other household items.

6. Jumping Up

Types: Jumping on people when greeting or during excitement.

7. Lead Pulling
Types: Pulling on the lead during walks.

8. Resource Guarding
Types: Protecting food, toys, or resting areas from people or other animals.

9. Inappropriate Elimination
Types: Urinating or defecating inside the house.

10. Compulsive Behaviours

Behavioral modification aims to address the root causes of these behaviours rather than just masking the symptoms, leading to more effective and lasting changes.
